Discover the Ultimate Guide to Crafting the Perfect Cold Brew at Home
If you're anything like us here at Don Pablo Coffee, there's nothing quite like a great cup of coffee to start your day off right. And when the weather starts to get warmer, a cold brew coffee is the perfect way to enjoy your favorite drink.Â
In this post, we're excited to share with you our simple step-by-step guide on how to make the best cold brew coffee that's sure to hit the spot every time!
1. First things first: choosing the right coffee beans is key. You want to make sure you're using fresh, high-quality beans that have been roasted and ground to perfection. Darker roasts tend to work best for cold brew, as they have a richer, fuller flavor.
2. Next up is grinding your coffee beans. For the perfect cold brew, you'll want to use a coarse grind to avoid any bitterness. As a general rule of thumb, aim for a 1:4 coffee-to-water ratio. So if you're using one cup of coffee, you'll need four cups of water.

3. Once your coffee beans are ground, it's time to mix them with water. You can use any container with a lid, like a French press or a mason jar. Make sure all the grounds are fully submerged in the water, then cover the container and let it sit at room temperature for 12-24 hours.
4. After 12-24 hours, it's time to strain your coffee. You can use a coffee filter, cheesecloth, or any other fine-mesh strainer you have on hand. Simply pour your coffee through the strainer into a clean jar or bottle. Your cold brew coffee can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
5. Last but not least: mix and enjoy! You can add milk, cream, sugar, or any other flavorings you like to your cold brew. For an extra-refreshing drink, add some ice cubes.
