Microlot Single Origin Honey processed coffee. Costa Rican coffee is one of the most high-quality specialty coffees in the world. With high altitudes, fertile volcanic soil, and a tropical climate, Costa Rica produces consistent and superior quality Arabica coffee.
Honey processed is delicate work! Our coffee is hand-selected. The skin and pulp of the coffee cherries are removed, and the bean is sun-dried without washing off the sticky-sweet part of the fruit. All the delicious flavors absorb into the coffee bean during the drying process, producing a fantastic coffee with great sweetness, balanced acidity, and fruity undertones. Costa Rica is known for its eco-friendly focus, and this process uses less water than traditional methods. There’s no actual honey on the coffee despite its name.
